Hello, I'm Titti Augustsson and I am the founder and designer behind TrashionPattern. I love to cut preloved clothes into pieces and turn them into new creations. And I want you to feel the same passion for it!
A preloved garment is just like any other piece of fabric when you use the sewing patterns from TrashionPattern. Because the pattern pieces are smaller than usual patterns, so you can use them on all your preloved clothes. Nice isn't it?
Welcome to TrashionPattern - the place where forgotten, outgrown and pre-loved clothes gets a second chance to shine.
Much water has run under the bridge since I was 5 and I can of course tell you all about my long experience as a designer for fashion, film and theatre, and I can also tell you a lot of how I've been teaching sewing and handicrafts for many years and that I hold diplomas in fashion, pattern cutting and sewing from academies in Paris, London and Copenhagen and that I hold a master degree in public health, specializing in the relationship between textile, the environment and health and that you can find the master thesis here... But I don't want to waste your time with storytelling. We hasn't got the time; we have a lot of upcycling to do togehter, you and I. So many preloved clothes, (billions of tons of it), so little time. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Cut! Cut Cut!
In case you wonder, I can tell you that I live in the South of Sweden together with my two sons, Adrian and Marcel. TrashionPattern is so far a one-woman company but Adrian and Marcel often step in as sewing assistants and inspiring muses.
