Updated: Jan 26, 2023

Hello Textile friends! Hope you are doing well. Today I will share with you two embroidery patterns that I have found on a piece of toilet paper! Yes, it is true! Inspiration can surely be found everywhere!

I love the reindeer! Do you notice the santa below the reindeer at the toilet paper?

ree

The christmas decorated toilet paper is perfect to use as a pattern for christmas earrings. The santa earrings are easy to make with some left over yarns and a little bit of stiff canvas.

ree

One square in the pattern represents one square in the canvas.

ree

The squares with a cross = red. The squares with a dot = white. The filled squares = blue or black. The empty squares in the face of santa = skin color.

When you have finished embroidering your Santa you have to iron on a couple of layers of interlining on the back of the canvas, like that you can hide the stiches on the back and also make it more stable.

ree

Add a pair of hooks to your Santas and Voila! you have a perfect pair of Santa earrings!

ree

When you hang the Santa ear rings in your ears you are guaranteed to feel the Christmas feeling spread throughout your body!

Ho! Ho! Ho!
