A LITTLE SANTA IN MY HAND

Log cabin squares are great fun to create and they are perfect if you have small pieces of fabric leftovers.

I had already cut out little santas from this old Christmas tablecloth, but still there are some santas left and one of them was allowed to be the center of a log cabin.

You cut out a square in the middle and then you build on with fabric that is exactly as long as the side you sew it to.

It is important to press the seam flat after each time you sew on a new fabric.

Continue sewing around the entire square. The pieces gets longer and longer as you build your square.

This became a mini log cabin, not bigger than I can have it in my hand. Lets see where this little Santa cutie ends up...
