ART, FASHION AND TRAVEL INSPIRATION FROM BERLIN

Last week I felt that I really had to travel somewhere to get some new art and fashion inspiration. Berlin felt like a good option. (and now I can to put some more patches on my Poppins bag......)

I didn't need to go to outer space like the sexy astronauts in Juri Korolevs magnificient painting at the Neues Nationalgalerie, for me Berlin was enought! Absolutely the right place to find inspiration!

Berlin really showed itself from the best side-it was sunny all the time.

I really enjoyed this trip and I really felt that I needed it. The world is big and the universe is made to discover. In fact one of the biggest reasons that I work with upcycling is that my motto is that we, the humans, are the ones who should travel the world, not our clothes. But I will talk about that motto in another post, this one is about Berlin inspiration...

I went to sooo many museums!!!

Museum Island is a part in Berlin where they have sooo many museums. You can see some of the greatest art in the world in Berlin. Nefertiti is in the Neues Museum and she is magic. You really get hypnotized by her beauty.

Caravaggios Cupid as Victor is such a magnificent painting.

Francesco di Giorgio Martini ´s painting over The ideal City is known for beeing kind of the painting that started the renaissance. You can find it in the Gemäldgalerie.

In Gemäldgalerie you can also find this masterpiece by Quinten Massys.

Next to Gemäldgalerie you can find the Kunstgewerbemuseum. Until 2025-06-01 there is an exhibition called The Art of Making 2025 Art, crafts and design from Paris and Berlin.

I went to the vernissage of the exhibition The Art of Making 2025 at the Kunstgewerbemuseum and it was very interesting. I didn't have any invitation but happily I managed to get in without it.

I really had a nice stay in Berlin. I only stayed for two days but it gave me so much inspiration!

This travel to Berlin really gave me new art and fashion inspiration. Let´s see where to go next time together with The Boho bag....
